Senior Analyst - Paraplanning

About the Role

Are you an experienced paraplanner looking for your next opportunity? We’re seeking a detail-oriented individual with 2+ years of experience working as a paraplanner within the Australian financial planning industry to join us as a Senior Analyst – Paraplanner, supporting Australian Financial Planners in developing effective, client-focused advice strategies. Key Responsibilities

• •Develop and construct high-quality, compliant financial advice documents (SOAs and ROAs) and supporting materials according to adviser preferences and timelines
• •Ensure all advice documents are accurate, technically sound, and personalised in line with legislative requirements and guidelines
• •Assist in developing complex and comprehensive advice strategies tailored to authorized representatives' needs
• •Assess and model both current and recommended financial positions for authorized representatives
• •Update systems and workflows in alignment with provided directions
• •Build and maintain strong professional relationships with financial advisers
• •Support the development and continuous improvement of paraplanning processes and procedures

Must-Haves

• •Minimum 2+ years of experience handling similar paraplanning tasks
• •Experience with Xplan Financial Planning Software
• •Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• •A degree or professional qualification in Finance (CIMA and ACCA students seeking practical training agreements are encouraged to apply)
